Method 1: Find Someone On Tik Tok Using The Username
This is the most simple way you can find someone on Tik Tok, if you have the app installed in the application then a quarter of your job is already done, if not, go to the play store and install Tik Tok from there.
Once you have the application on your device, from there on it is a simple three-step process
- Open the Tik Tok application, and log in.
- Tap on discover.
- Enter the username.

First and foremost, locate the application on your device, and enter your username and password in the required spaces. If you don’t have an account, then your first step is to create one.
Once you have made a new Tik Tok account, and successfully logged in, you will enter the homepage of the application.

The Tikcodes work like a Snapchat code only, all you have to do is scan a person’s Tikcode, or get a picture of their Tikcode someone and then you directly reach their Tik Tok account, without actually going through the hassle of asking them personally.

- Open Tik Tok
- Tap the Me icon at the bottom right of the screen.
- Press the three vertical dots at the top right
- Scroll down and select TikCode
- Wait for the QR code to finish loading.
Follow these steps to scan someone’s QR code on Tik Tok
- Open Tik Tok on your device and log in to your account.
- Once you are on the homepage, press the Magnifying Glass icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Locate the press the icon right beside the search bar on the top of the screen.

Another way to find someone on Tik Tok is to find them via your phone contacts. However, you can use this way only if you have this person’s contact in your device already.
Using this method, you don’t personally have to ask them for their username, you can get the job done without that as well.
To find someone on Tik Tok using your phone’s contact list, simply follow these steps:
- Open Tik Tok
- Tap the Me icon at the bottom right
- Then tap the icon at the top left.
- Select Find Contacts
Another, the key point you need to keep in mind while using this method is that, if your contact hasn’t linked his/her Tik Tok account with their contact, you will not be able to find them.
Method 4: Find Someone On Tik Tok Among Your Facebook Friends
Well last but not least, you can also find them on Tik Tok via the app’s Find Facebook Friends feature. That way you will get a list of all your Facebook that are presently on the Tik Tok application and you can follow the desired ones.
Additionally, remember, that choosing this method allows Tik Tok full access to your public profile on Facebook as well as your contacts.

- Open Tik Tok, and log in to your account.
- On the homepage, click on the Me icon at the bottom right
- Press the icon at the top left of the screen.
- Select Find Facebook Friends
- TikTok will ask you to sign into Facebook. Tap Continue, and sign in to your Facebook using your credentials.
- TikTok will now show you a list of your Facebook friends who are on the app.
- Tap Follow next to the users you’d like to add.
