His job entails listening and responding to people’s feelings on life events such as marriage proposals, births of children, deaths of relatives etc. He spends his days with artificial intelligence systems in order to maintain these relationships through written communication. A terrible event has left the world frozen and covered, with only one continent inhabited by humanity who survived on its own resources for over 20 years.
