If you aren’t familiar with “Girl On The Train” then let me tell ya- it’s about an alcoholic divorcee named Rachel who commutes by train every day and has become obsessed with a couple she sees regularly in her line of sight. One day while watching the couple she sees, the wife goes missing and Rachel becomes obsessed with finding out what happened. The movie is full of twists and turns at every turn- it’s extremely thrilling!

This movie is based on Stieg Larsson’s best-selling novel. A journalist, Mikael Blomkvist, gets entangled in a missing person case when his sister comes to him for help trying to solve the mystery of her husband. Lisbeth Salander is an expert investigator who joins forces with Mikael as they slowly unravel the truth about what happened decades ago. This thriller is filled with action, suspense, and an ending that will leave you surprised.

2. Gone Girl
As the movie opens, we meet a couple in Manhattan who are ideal for each other. The only shadow in their marriage is the disappearance of Amy Dunne on their fifth wedding anniversary.
As her husband, Nick tries to find her and figure out what happened to his wife, the police begin to suspect that he has something to do with her sudden departure. Their investigation brings them closer and closer into his personal life which might be more shady than they originally thought. To find out what happens next you’ll have to watch this thriller based on Gillian Flynn’s novel of the same name.
“Malice” is a movie that was released in 1993 and stars Nicole Kidman, Alec Baldwin, and Bill Pullman.
This thriller tells the tale of two doctors who are celebrating the success of their careers by going on a vacation to an island together. They meet a woman named Dolores who invites them over for dinner- as they enjoy their time together, Mr. Olsen tells them about a patient from his hospital who is believed to have been killed by her husband.
The doctors don’t give it much thought until they learn that the woman that Olsen described was in fact Dolores’ sister and she has recently gone missing without a trace. When they decide to leave the island for a business trip, they find out that the sister has been found near their hotel and both doctors become prime suspects in her death.
This movie is a great choice if you like mystery and thrillers!
4. No Good Deed
“No Good Deed” is a movie that was released in 2014 and stars Idris Elba, Taraji P. Henson, and Kate del Castillo.
This thriller is about a convicted murderer named Colin whom escape from prison with the help of his girlfriend only to find himself on the run again after he kills a police officer during a car chase. With nowhere to go, Colin takes refuge at a house that belongs to Terri and her friend Susan- only they don’t know who he is at first.
As time goes on, we learn that Terri had been abused by her ex-husband and had recently moved herself and her children across the country for safety reasons- but their new visitor threatens everything they’ve built up together! is another thriller you will want to check out!
5. Along Came A Spider
This mystery/thriller takes place in Washington D.C., where Detective Alex Cross is called upon to investigate a crime scene in which a young girl has been murdered by being tied upside down from the stairs in her house.
As they try to gather more information about this horrific murder, another victim comes into play- a senator’s wife whom has also been found dead in an even worse way than the first girl. What makes everything even harder for Alex to figure out is the fact that the only clue left behind at both crime scenes is a red rose with two puncture marks.
This movie will keep you on your toes and guessing throughout!
6. The Town
“The Town” is a phenomenal heist, mystery/thriller that was released in 2010.
This movie tells the story of a man named Doug who comes from a long line of bank robbers and decides to take on his own heist with his crew. The only problem is that during this robbery, they run into Claire- whom is the fiancee of an FBI agent who was just pulled onto this robbery case.
The movie follows the pursuit of Doug and his crew by both the FBI agent and Claire whom are determined to catch them.
7. The Silence Of The Lambs
“The Silence of the Lambs” is a famous and critically acclaimed psychological thriller which was released in 1991 and is based on Thomas Harris’ novel of the same name.
This movie follows the character Clarice Starling- an FBI cadet whom is tasked with interviewing one infamous serial killer named Dr. Hannibal Lecter to try and gain insight into another murderer who is still at large. When Lecter meets Clarice, he is immediately intrigued by her- which doesn’t help with the fact that she’s having trouble getting him to cooperate.
The suspense in this film will make you want to keep watching over and over again!
8. Fatal Attraction
This movie tells the story about a married man named Dan who meets a woman named Alex for an affair- but when she quickly becomes obsessed with him, he tries to break things off which leaves his life and family in danger! The suspense that builds up in this film is incredible- you will not be able to take your eyes off the screen!
9. Blue Jasmine
This movie takes place in San Francisco and follows the character Jasmine- a socialite who has to make a life for herself after her husband is arrested. She ends up going to stay with her working-class sister Ginger in an attempt to start over, but she quickly learns that it’s not easy for this upper-class woman to be around people that have so little.
In the midst of Jasmine’s struggles, she meets a man named Chili at Ginger’s workplace and they begin to have an affair which leaves her in a world of trouble when her past begins to haunt her! This movie will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end!
10. Black Swan
“Black Swan” is another psychological thriller that takes place in New York. This film follows the character Nina- an ambitious dancer who gets given the opportunity to play the lead role in a production of Swan Lake by a well-known director named Thomas Leroy.
When she accepts, things get complicated when other dancers start to scare her and her life starts to spin out of control. This movie will have you guessing from start to finish!
